Tuesday Luncheon Meeting
Tuesday Luncheon Meeting
Rochester Rotary welcomes Dr. Rachel Conley, MD, to its November 17 luncheon for a timely presentation, “GLP-1: Weight Loss & Eating Disorders.” Dr. Conley will discuss the growing use of GLP-1 medications for weight management and the important relationship between medical treatment, eating behaviors, and long-term health.
Dr. Conley is board-certified in Internal Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. With more than 20 years of experience in the medical field, she brings a deep understanding of the complex medical, biological, behavioral, and lifestyle factors that influence weight.
Growing up in a small town, Dr. Conley was inspired by a primary care physician who made house calls and knew his patients as people—not numbers. That relationship-centered approach has remained at the heart of her work. After years of treating conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, depression, and arthritis, she recognized how closely weight and metabolic health were connected to many of her patients’ ongoing health challenges. In 2018, she purchased Rochester Medical Weight Loss and developed a comprehensive, physician-guided program focused on individualized treatment, ongoing support, and lasting improvements in health.
