Rochester Rotarian and Senior Vice President of Advancement, Executive Director of Foundation at Heritage Christian Services, Mark Zawacki, will be presenting “From Hollywood to Horseheads” at Locust Hill Country Club.

This presentation traces a journey from early ambitions in television working on shows like Saved by the Bell and later The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, through broadcasting and ultimately into nonprofit leadership and fundraising. It highlights how each career stage required risk, perseverance, and adaptation, while revealing that the real through line wasn’t fame, but service to others. In the end, it reframes leadership as servant-driven focused on lifting others up, building community, and creating meaningful impact.
