School #8 Volunteers
School #8 Students need your help!
Roberto Clemente School #8 has been Rochester Rotary’s adopted school since 1994. Rochester Rotarians help students in several ways, including tutoring, reading and/or volunteering in the classroom, supporting clothing, food and school supply drives, mentoring our scholars, and providing scholarship funds for post-high school academic opportunities.
While needs are many, the time commitment varies depending on the opportunity. In order to keep our School 8 programs energized and impactful to these students, we need more Rotarians to step up and volunteer in a meaningful way. There are a range of opportunities available to assist students and/or teachers – on a periodic, monthly or weekly basis – and the faculty are very flexible and appreciative. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a huge difference in a young student’s life, please consider joining us!
