Rochester Rotary has elected R. Scott Rasmussen, senior assistant vice president, Golisano Children’s Hospital Advancement, as its president for the Rotary year from July 2021 through June 2022. During his presidential year, the club will enter its 111^th year and it will continue preparing for the 100^th anniversary celebration of Rochester Rotary Sunshine Camp.

Scott Rasmussen’s election as president follows several leadership roles in Rochester Rotary, including serving as vice president of the Sunshine Camp committee, chairing the membership committee and the diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) committee, and serving on the membership recruitment committee. He has been a Rochester Rotarian since 2010.

Other community service includes being a frequent blood donor and serving on the advisory board at the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo. Rasmussen resides in Penfield.
