The Rochester Rotary Award is the oldest civic award in Rochester, honoring community members who personify Rotary International’s motto, “Service Abobe Self.” It is presented annually to a  citizen who has made a significant contribution to the business, professional, cultural, or civic life of our community.

This year we will be honoring Dr. Vito Quatela. Dr. Quatela is a Rochester-based facial plastic surgeon. He founded HUGS Foundation, Inc. in 2003 with a simple goal in mind; he wanted to change the lives of children using a team of skilled surgeons to correct congenital facial deformities.

Registration will be held at 5:00 pm followed by the program and award presentation in the Dryden Theater at 5:30 pm. There will be heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar at the reception celebration from 6:00-8:00 pm.
