As a region\, the Finger Lakes holds a wide diversity of red grapes planted under vine\, and have roots connected to historic origins in France\, Northern Italy\, Austria\, Germany\, & even the Republic of Georgia. Red wine production and winemaking has come a long way in the last 15 years\, and deserves a second look.
