SUMMARY:Tuesday Luncheon Meeting
DESCRIPTION:On July 21st\, Rochester Rotary will welcome Rick Plympton\, Former CEO of Optimax Systems\, Inc.\, for a presentation titled “Start a Business – Leave a Legacy.” \nRick will share the story of how Optimax\, a world leader in high-precision optics manufacturing\, approached succession planning in a way that protected the company’s future\, strengthened its employees\, and kept its impact rooted in the local community. \nAfter years of intentional planning\, Rick and his business partner\, Mike Mandina\, converted Optimax to an Employee Ownership Trust in 2020. Their goal was not simply to create an exit plan\, but to build a lasting structure that would ensure Optimax would never be sold\, employees would continue to share in the company’s success\, and the business would remain a source of jobs\, innovation\, and opportunity for decades to come. \nRick’s message is a powerful reminder that succession planning is not only about what happens when an owner leaves. It is also about what remains: the people\, the culture\, the jobs\, the shared prosperity\, and the legacy a business leaves behind. \n  \nUse the form below to register for this luncheon. \n\n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Non-eater\n \n \n I understand I will be charged the $10 non-eater fee\n Guest Names Add RemoveDietary NeedsPlease let us know if you have anything fineable\n \n I have a fine\n \n Submit

SUMMARY:Rotary on the Road REDCOM
DESCRIPTION:Join us for another Rotary on the Road luncheon at REDCOM in Victor on Tuesday\, September 8th. Please plan to arrive at 11:30 am to have time to eat before the tour begins promptly at noon. A short presentation with speaker Dinah Weisberg\, CEO of REDCOM\, will follow the tour. \nREDCOM delivers innovative communication platforms that enable decisive action in the most demanding environments. Our solutions are designed to simplify the complex operating environment and ensure seamless connectivity to meet your mission-critical requirements. We have a long history of successful deployments at the highest levels of government and in leading communications programs for the Department of War\, including the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. \nDinah Weisberg leads REDCOM as the Chief Executive Officer\, guiding the company that her parents\, Klaus and Brigitte Gueldenpfennig\, founded in 1978. She is the second generation to run the business\, and she came to the role the long way: through the code\, the customers\, and nearly every department in the building. \nHer career at REDCOM started in 1986 as a summer intern. By 1988\, she had joined the development group as a software engineer\, and she spent the next sixteen years in engineering\, advancing through a series of senior technical roles. Those years in product engineering still shape how she runs the company today. \nIn 2004\, Dinah was promoted to Vice President of Planning and Government Program Administration. For eight years\, she led REDCOM’s government and military engagement\, building the relationships and program discipline that anchor the company’s defense business today. She was named Executive Vice President in 2012\, President in January 2017\, and Chief Executive Officer less than a year later. \n  \nUse the form below if you are planning to attend. We do not have a non-eater option for offsite luncheons. \n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Guest Names Add RemoveDietary Needs\n Submit
