SUMMARY:Rotary on the Road REDCOM
DESCRIPTION:Join us for another Rotary on the Road luncheon at REDCOM in Victor on Tuesday\, September 8th. Please plan to arrive at 11:30 am to have time to eat before the tour begins promptly at noon. A short presentation with speaker Dinah Weisberg\, CEO of REDCOM\, will follow the tour. \nREDCOM delivers innovative communication platforms that enable decisive action in the most demanding environments. Our solutions are designed to simplify the complex operating environment and ensure seamless connectivity to meet your mission-critical requirements. We have a long history of successful deployments at the highest levels of government and in leading communications programs for the Department of War\, including the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force. \nDinah Weisberg leads REDCOM as the Chief Executive Officer\, guiding the company that her parents\, Klaus and Brigitte Gueldenpfennig\, founded in 1978. She is the second generation to run the business\, and she came to the role the long way: through the code\, the customers\, and nearly every department in the building. \nHer career at REDCOM started in 1986 as a summer intern. By 1988\, she had joined the development group as a software engineer\, and she spent the next sixteen years in engineering\, advancing through a series of senior technical roles. Those years in product engineering still shape how she runs the company today. \nIn 2004\, Dinah was promoted to Vice President of Planning and Government Program Administration. For eight years\, she led REDCOM’s government and military engagement\, building the relationships and program discipline that anchor the company’s defense business today. She was named Executive Vice President in 2012\, President in January 2017\, and Chief Executive Officer less than a year later. \n  \nThis luncheon is full.

During our visit\, we’ll experience the company’s rich history and far-reaching impact on science\, technology and culture\, while celebrating the accomplishments of Kodak employees—past and present. \nThe Kodak Visitor Center is a highly visual experience\, and we’ll have an added benefit: Rotarian Pat Stack will join us to provide insight into the Center and its story. Pat was instrumental in the launch of the Kodak Center\, including helping shape its IT strategy\, and will share additional context as we explore the exhibits. \nWhat You’ll See\nThe Kodak Visitor Center & Gallery includes: \n\nHistorical Displays — Museum-quality exhibits highlighting the pictorial and archival history of Eastman Kodak.\nArtifacts & Technology — Vintage photography equipment\, filmmaking processes\, motion picture milestones\, developments in X-ray technology\, office equipment and more.\nSpecial Highlights — The George Eastman Hall of Fame star\, milestones in employee benefits and workplace history\, and rotating community and archival exhibits.\n\nA boxed lunch is included with registration\, and the Kodak Gift Shop will be open during our visit. \nParking\nA small parking lot next to the building offers free public parking during normal Visitor Center hours. Space is limited. \nAdditional free parking is conveniently located across the street\, and handicap-accessible parking is available in all parking lots. \nCome enjoy lunch with fellow Rotarians while taking a closer look at a company whose innovations helped shape Rochester—and changed how the world captures and shares its stories. \nAdvance registration is required. \n\n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Guest Names Add RemoveDietary Needs\n Submit \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Name(Required)\n \n \n \n First\n \n \n \n \n Last\n \n \n Email(Required)\n \n Guest Names Add RemoveDietary Needs\n Submit
