DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center to hear from guest speaker J.C. Argetsinger\, President of the International Motor Racing Research Center at Watkins Glen. \nHow Motor Racing made Watkins Glen World Famous \nAs recently as the aftermath of WWII Watkins Glen was chiefly known as a little upstate village on a lovely lake with a beautiful gorge.  Within ten years the name Watkins Glen became nationally famous and within the following decade became widely known internationally.  This all occurred because of the dream and organizing skills of a young pre-law student\, Cameron R. Argetsinger.  The growth of the road racing led to the creation of the International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC)\, a thriving library and archive dedicated to motorsport spearheaded by Jean Argetsinger\, wife of Cameron\, in 1998 to commemorate fifty years of road racing at Watkins Glen. \n  \nUse the form below to register:
